Sea Dragon

Sea Dragon, with its pendant arm and gemstone drop, is an extension of my Dragon centerpiece.  It was my first opportunity to work with important pearls.  And it led to my first collaboration with Sherris Cottier Shank, an international award-winning lapidary artist.  “My carved gems create a sense of woven light that pairs beautifully with Barbara’s weaving,” said Sherris.  “The fluid lines, undercutting and recessed surfaces on my gemstones complement the delicate and precise intertwining of gold wires in the Sea Dragon.”  Sherris designed and carved both the Amethyst and Chrysoprase drops specifically for my Sea Dragons.

As with my Ribbon and Dragon centerpieces, the Sea Dragon strands are interchangeable.  The gemstone drops are interchangeable as well.  Create a wardrobe of different pearls and gemstones to wear with your Sea Dragon.  Dress it up, dress it down, or slip on an S-hook clasp and wear just the strands.
